About Autumn Travertine
Autumn Travertine is an orange travertine from Turkey and comes with a leather finish. Travertine is a form of limestone laid down by mineral-rich hot springs. Gas bubbles caught while the calcium carbonate layers formed leave its typical natural pores and banded structure, which give travertine its warm, organic look.
Vein cut slabs are sawn across the natural layers and show straight, linear bands; cross cut slabs are sawn along the layers and show a softer, cloudy pattern.
Autumn Travertine slabs are cut from the block on our own gangsaw line and processed in our factory in Turkey, then photographed bundle by bundle in our yard.
